This game has the ability to utilize the Nintendo 64 Expansion Pak, but it is not required. Like its predecessor, it is for the Nintendo 64 and allows players to upload and battle their Pokémon from Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal with the use of a Transfer Pak.
